ANNE FITZGERALD

ABOUT

Hi! My name is Anne Fitzgerald, and I am a junior studying Media Arts + Practice at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. I’m passionate about the intersection of art and technology, particularly in interactive and immersive design.

Through my studies, I’ve explored a variety of multimedia storytelling mediums, including video, sound, graphic design, 3D modeling, and creative coding. My work involves tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, Processing, p5.js, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and TouchDesigner. I have a special interest in projection mapping and installation art, and my favorite medium right now is coding—I love the problem-solving aspect of it. I coded this website from scratch!

Outside of school and work (currently as a projectionist for film classes and a student assistant for a coding class), you’ll often find me doing arts and crafts on my bedroom floor or FaceTiming my dog, Banjo.

PROJECTS

A sketch in Processing where you can use the arrow keys to move a bunny around. You explore her garden and the exterior and interior of her home. Be careful not to touch the clouds with your mouse or the bunny will get wet!

A practice in web forgery - I recreated the Washington Post's website with my own content. When viewed on your phone, it shows Shel Silverstein poems.

Recreated on Photoshop and Illustrator. Inspired by old Disney film posters.

Created a website to 'disrupt the grid'. It shows how we often get trapped in specific lenses (rose-colored glasses, tunnel vision, online image curation) that cause us to lose sight of the big picture. Explore different lenses that only show you some of the content on the page.

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with the need to capture and record every moment. That is impossible, however, and this diary captures that feeling. Overtime, the diary entries will distort and fade if you do not revisit them often. The more diary entries there are, the harder it is to search through and find old memories. Like a diary Tamagotchi. Learned Firebase with this project.

A personal project coded using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, p5.js, and jQuery. I used Pinterest photos to make a dream board for 2025. Fully mobile responsive.

An exercise in 3D modeling in Blender. I modeled everything from scratch and gained more familiarity with textures and cloth simulations.

A digital scrapbook of all the locations of some of my friends and family. Made in Glitch using HTML and CSS.
